Testimonial

Dear Golden Empire,

Through this letter I wish to express my gratitude to the entire staff of Golden Empire for the wonderful care and loving support that was given to my wife, Doris H. Walker.

For over a year and a half I observed many, many caring deeds carried out by the nurses and aids in Station One, not only for my beloved wife, but also of other residents.  I saw emergencies handled with efficiency and kept at a low profile.  I saw many kisses on a cheek, a pat on the back, kind words spoken with a helping hand.  I saw exchanges of smiles and humor.  I saw my wife and other residents responding, and I know these gestures helped make their life more meaningful.  They were always treated with love, kindness and respect.

During the time Doris was a resident I came in contact with the staff in every department.  Nurses, aides, physical therapy, administrative, food service, laundry, housekeeping, maintenance and social services.  Each was outstanding in their sincere concern and willingness to take care of their residents.

Also, thank you for having the patio.  She did love to be outdoors and we spent many enjoyable hours there.

Doris loved each and every staff member from every department that worked in Station One.  Please convey our appreciation and thanks to all for taking such wonderful care of her.

Grant Walker
